Biodiversity & Conservation

Definition/Introduction

Biodiversity refers to the variety of life on Earth, encompassing the diversity of species, ecosystems, and genetic diversity. It is crucial for the stability of ecosystems and the provision of services that support life.

Constitutional Provisions

  • **Article 48A**: Protection and improvement of environment and safeguarding of forests and wildlife.
